The Marketing Award for Colleges was established in 1988 on the initiative of Philip Morris, with the goal of spreading the marketing culture within the Italian Universities.
In 2006 the Award was granted to the Società Italiana Marketing (Italian Marketing Association) which supports the competition amongst students model on cases collected and built in collaboration with private as well as public sponsors.
The 30th edition will focus on the National Geographic’s brand which operates all over the world offering multi-platform publishing services as well as various products designed to entertain and teach while contributing to the defense of planet Earth and to science.
This year’s challenge is aimed at broadening the brand into a new business able to promote its potential while attracting at the same time a younger demographic.
