Internationalization Committee

The Internationalization Committee is a work group consisting of few associates.

The task of this Committee is to assist the Presidency in achieving one of the main goals of the Italian Marketing Association: to speed up the process of international integration of our community and to support the associates in their personal educational path.

The Committee comprises associates appointed by the Board upon the recommendation of the President and the General Secretary.

Matteo De Angelis is an Assistant Professor at the Luiss Guido Carli and Professor at the Luiss Business School where he teaches Marketing Management and Marketing Communication on Social Media. As far as research is concerned he worked on consumer’s behavior and on psychological factors behind sharing of marketing information amongst consumers. He has a long-standing educational and research experience in the United States. He is the author of articles published on some of the most prestigious international journals.



Gaia Rubera is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Department at the Bocconi University. Before joining Bocconi, she was an Assistant Professor at the Michigan State University. Her research interests focus on innovation and new product development, creativity, design innovation, and social media. Her articles have been published in Marketing Science, the Journal of Marketing, the Strategic Management Journal, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the Journal of Service Research, and the Journal of International Business Studies, among others. She sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Marketing.



Sara Valentini is an Associate Professor of Economy and Business Management in the Department of Business Sciences at the University of Bologna. She teaches Marketing (three years degree), Social Media Marketing (Master’s Degree), and Introduction to Statistics (Ph.D.). She is currently an executive member of the European Association of Marketing (EMAC) as the Italian representative and Associate Dean for Alumni at the Bologna Business School (BBS). Her activity focuses on the subjects of customer base profitability, service recovery, and consumer’s satisfaction. Her scientific contributions appeared on journals such as the Journal of Marketing, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Psychology & Marketing.



Stefano Puntoni is Professor of Marketing at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), in the Netherlands. He earned a doctoral degree in marketing at the London Business School and a degree in statistics at the University of Padua. Stefano studies the consumer’s behavior and his research appeared in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing Research and Management Science. His teaching experience is in the fields of marketing strategy and brand management. He is involved in executive education and he was a Visiting Professor at the Bocconi University, the London Business School, the American University of Cairo, and the Lancaster University.
