Internationalization Committee

The Internationalization Committee is a work group consisting of few associates.

The task of this Committee is to assist the Presidency in achieving one of the main goals of the Italian Marketing Association: to speed up the process of international integration of our community and to support the associates in their personal educational path.

The Committee comprises associates appointed by the Board upon the recommendation of the President and the General Secretary.

Stefania Borghini PhD, Associate Professor of Economia e Gestione at Bocconi University, Milan. Her research interests are related to consumers’ behavior in the marketplace and their connections with brands and retail spaces in particular. Her current projects are focusing in particular on children’s and women’s behavior. In her studies she adoptsa consumer culture perspective and privileges ethnographic methods. She is a SIM member from 2009.

Raffaele Donvito (PhD) is Associate Professor -with National Academic Qualification as Full Professor- of Marketing and International Management at the University of Florence. He has been Research Fellow of the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Florence since 2001. He has been Instructor and then Lecturer of Introduction to Marketing at Leonard N. Stern School of Business - New York University in Florence since 2009. He holds marketing lectures in many international Universities such us Leibniz University of Hannover and, Yonsei University of Seoul. He was visiting scholar at the University of Sydney. Raffaele Donvito’s research interests include international marketing, brand management, retail marketing, fashion and luxury marketing. His published research outputs have appeared in refereed international journals including Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, Journal of Brand Management, Journal of Product & Brand Management, Qualitative Market Research, Journal of Marketing Trends, International Journal of Business and Economics, and in GAMMA, KSMS, Marketing Trends, EMAC, IMP, AMS international conferences proceeding too.

Andrea Moretti Full Professor of General Management at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University of Udine of which he was Director. He teaches Strategy & Business Models, Relationship Marketing and Social Media, Tourist Management. He is responsible for the Master of Science Degree in International Marketing, Management and Organization and participates in the Master's Degree in Digital Marketing at the University of Udine. His research interests are focused on the analysis of the strategic perspectives of marketing in the tourist-cultural contexts and in the creative industries, in particular from the point of view of consumer behavior. The analysis of international aspects is always present in the research activities.

Luca Petruzzellis Luca Petruzzellis is a professor of Marketing and Director of the BA and MS in Marketing at the University of Bari Aldo Moro in Italy. He was also the Italian Representative at the European Academy of Marketing. He has been visiting professor at NYU Stern, Baruch College, University of Glasgow, HEC Montreal and Université de Bourgogne. His research interests are sensory branding, customization, destination branding, cross-cultural identities. In addition to his academic work, he has worked as a branding consultant, from tourism to sports, thus having the chance to work with various companies and institutions.
